Our Network :: General Information

Korksoft's data center offers a complete range of end-to-end solutions for Internet and hosting services. Our data center offers enhanced security through proximity cards rather than traditional keys- eliminating the possibility for duplicate keys to be made. Our data center provides uninterruptible and back-up power through APC power distribution units and diesel generator.

Redundant Internet connections are provided through Gnaps, Level3 and BBNPlanet - all Tier-1 bandwidth providers. Cooling and heating are provided through dual redundant air handlers, to provide reliable enviromental control for both temperature and humidity.

Korksoft's internal network is fully protected through the use of the Cisco PIX firewall product and access control lists. Korksoft also has implemented intrusion detection systems on both the network and on our servers to ensure the highest level of security.

Korksoft's servers, customer dedicated servers and network connections are monitored 24x7 through both port monitoring and ICMP echo (ping response) at our network operations center.
