Question: What is Corporate Email Hosting?
Answer: Corporate Email hosting service allows administrators to either use Korksoft Web Hosting's email service as their primary for their employees, or utilize us as their secondary failover email server should an in-house email server become unavailable. The Corporate Email hosting solution is a Unix based mail solution utilizing POP3 or IMAP receiving protocols along with SMTP sending protocols. Each email account includes web based email access, virus scanning and spam filtering.
Question: What is Exchange email hosting?
Answer: Korksoft Web Hosting provides Microsoft Exchange 2003 email hosting solutions. MS Exchange is a messaging and collaboration server providing email, messaging, scheduling and file access through both the Outlook email client application and web browser. Korksoft Web Hosting provides services for groups and individual users.
Question: How do I manage my email account(s)?
Answer: If you are a corporate email hosting customer or a shared hosting customer, you may login to the mail administrator at http://www.korksoft.com/mailadm. If you are an Exchange hosting customer, please contact your administator or Korksoft Web Hosting sales representative for the correct control panel management link.
Question: Do you filter for SPAM and Antiviruses?
Answer: Yes, each Korksoft Web Hosting email account is fully protected for all viruses. Our virus scanner is updated twice daily to ensure the highest level of protection. We do also utilize SPAM/UCE filters to prohibit unwanted emails from entering into the Korksoft Web Hosting network. These can sometimes inadvertently mark or delete messages mistakenly. In the event this occurs, please contact support. Messages that are detected as SPAM will be marked with a {Spam?} in the subject line. You may setup a filter in your email client to deal with these messages in any manner you wish.
