What is the hardware configuration of your servers?
On all of our shared servers and virtual private servers we have a minimum configuration of dual Pentium Xeon 2.0Ghz processors with 1.5GB of RAM. We also regularly upgrade all shared servers as the need arises to handle the aditional demands that our customers place on the servers and network. All servers also have RAID disk redundancy to allow for the highest possible uptime with no data loss should a hardware failure occur.

How are your servers connected to the internet?
Our network is fully redundant via the BGP-4 protocol over multiple 100Mbit ethernet connections to Level3, Gnaps, G4 and BBNPlanet. In the event that one connection is having problems, traffic is automatically routed to the other connections to avoid downtime.

Notice of cancellation is required prior to the renewal date; customers who are within their first 30-days of newly established service may request our money back guarantee. Customers whom are within the 30-day money back guarantee period shall receive a credit back to their account within 7-working days. Customers whom are pre-paid shall receive service through their next renewal date, as no refunds are available unless they are within the 30-day money back guarantee period. Customer accounts automatically renew per the terms of their original purchase, unless a billing modification and/or cancellation notice per our cancellation policy (see above) is followed. No refunds shall be given to those customers who have purchased service and not utilized it, have not canceled service within the 30-day money back guarantee period (eligible only for new customers, renewal customers excluded), customers who have purchased a domain name, SSL Certificate, not canceled service prior to their next renewal date, or those customers who have dedicated server and/or collocation services. It is your responsibility as a Korksoft customer to make certain that your billing, address, and contact information is kept current and accurate. If your account is unable to be renewed because of expired or invalid billing information, your hosting services will be suspended and an effort will be made to contact you via e-mail as well as regular mail via the United States Postal Service. If we have not received updated information from you after a period of 30 days from the renewal date, we will determine that you abandoned your account with Korksoft and we will remove all of your information from our servers and terminate our business relationship. |

May I relay email through your servers?
Korksoft has employed a POP/IMAP-before-SMTP authentication type system. This allows us to dymanically authorize our users to be able to relay (or send) email through our outgoing mail servers, while at the same time, locking them down to prevent spammers from using our and your resources. The authorization remains in place for 60-minutes, after which you will need to check your email again, prior to sending any email. We suggest that you setup your email application to automatically check your email once every 30-minutes. This will allow a seamless process of sending and receiving. Please Note: In order to utilize our POP/IMAP-before-SMTP authentication, you must have a resolvable reverse IP address. This means that your ISP must conform to industry standard practices for DNS management (i.e. 10.0.0.1 resolves to host.mydomain.tld).
